About Cape Cod Technology Council
Cape Cod Technology Council is a membership based non-profit organization promoting technology and business on the Cape, Islands, and Southeastern Massachusetts.
We are equal parts economic development, business networking, and STEM (that's science, technology, engineering, and math!) education. Some of the projects we are involved with include the Unwired Village public broadband access initiative, the Open Cape data transport network, JrTECH workshops, and First Friday breakfasts.
We're a place where you can meet your peers, meet potential business partners, or simply learn about some interesting new ideas and keep your brain in shape with others who share your interests and speak your language.
We're a place where you can make a difference and help shape the regional economy. Telecomm infrastructure, business development, visibility within the state, developing external and internal perception, creating a strong business climate ... these are just a few of the areas both we and our members have been involved with.
We're a place where you can help develop the next generation. Teach, mentor, or sponsor the Jr Tech program. Workshops for grades 5-12 immerse students in technology in all its various formats, from media to engineering to biology to energy to ... well, we're still adding to the list.
Our definition of technology reaches across all industries. It's not just IT. It's not just computers. It's the myriad of applications where human inquiry meets human invention to produce a new way of working, thinking, or creating.
Smart use of technology is the element that all competitive businesses share, and is an approach that our entire region is embracing as we move into the 21st century.
